Often if a home owner is unable to water the plant because he or she is away for work or on a holiday, all the leaves will wilt, dry and fall off. However if they are watered regularly there is a possibility that the plant will revive and grow well.
It is observed that some flowering shrubs may not revive, however other flowering plants like the blue pea and some other plants like the guava, pomegranate, lemon and mint plants will have new leaves if watered daily.
Revival of these plants could take three or four weeks, however it is important to water the plants regularly though the plants are completely dried. So though a plant has dried, the gardener should not remove the roots,as the plant may revive
Some gardeners take a lot of effort to collect plants from different sources, and it is very disappointing to find that the plant has died.
