In June 2016, the gardens in Panaji, Goa are getting overrun with snails of different varieties. The main problem faced is that these snails are eating all the seeds that are being planted, the germination rates for the seeds has dropped to almost zero. Smaller seeds like tomato, chilli seeds are the worst affected by these snails as they can be easily eaten while some larger seeds like brinjal seeds have survived.
